In the figure, m (arc APC) = 100° and ∠BAC = 70°. Find i. ∠ABC ii. m (arc BQC).

Given :- In the figure, m (arc APC) = 100° and ∠BAC = 70°.

Find :-

  • i. ∠ABC
  • ii. m (arc BQC).

Solution :-

→ ∠ABC = (1/2) * (m arc APC) { inscribed angle theorem. }

→ ∠ABC = (1/2) * 100°

→ ∠ABC = 50° (Ans.)

similarly,

→ ∠BAC = (1/2) * m (arc BQC)

→ 70° = (1/2) * m (arc BQC)

→ 2 * 70° = m (arc BQC)

→ m (arc BQC) = 140° (Ans.)
