In a circle, the center is O. Length of OB is 5 cm.

Again, we have, distance from O to chord AB is 3 cm. since ∠OMB is a right angle (according to the theorem of chord), we have ΔOMB a right triangle. Then, in the triangle OB = 5 cm, OM = 3 cm. Then, MB = √(5^2 - 3^)

                                                                                           = 4 cm.

So, length of AB is 2*4 cm = 8 cm.(ans.)
