angleOCD = 90°
angleAOC = 90°

there fore, AC||OD
coz,
angle OCD and angle AOC is alternate int. angles

Answer:

Given:-

O is the center of circle , AB is the diameter, tangent CD at point C and line BD is tangent at point B.

In this question we need to prove Segment OD parallel to Chord  AC

In provided figure-

In triangle DOC and AOC

∠OCD = 90°  and ∠AOC = 90°    (Since  , angles are alternate interior angles)

Therefore, Segment OD parallel to Chord  AC

i.e, AC||OD

Hence proved
