1. Since AOB is a straight line

there fore, angle AOC + angle BOC = 180

( sum of angles on a straight line is 180)

AOC + 75 = 180

AOC = 180 - 75

therefore AOC = 105

2. similarly, 110 + BOC = 180

BOC = 180 - 110

therefore BOC = 70

I hope it helps you armii

ANSWER ⤵️

Q. If angle BOC = 75°, find angle AOC.

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ANSWER

GIVEN : 1. OA and OB are opposite rays.

2. BOC = 75°

What theorem says ?

opposite rays of 2 angle makes a straight line

→ so angle ∠AOC and ∠COB makes a line

SOLUTION :-

∵ we know that AOB is a line so ,

∠AOC + ∠COB = 180° ( already proven )

here , ∠BOC or ∠COB = 75°

SO,

∠AOC + 75° = 180°

∠AOC = 180° - 75°

∠AOC = 105°

Q. If angle AOC = 110° , find angle BOC

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⋆ ANSWER ⋆

GIVEN : 1. OA and OB are opposite rays.

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ 2. AOC= 110°

What theorem says ?

⋆ opposite rays of 2 angle makes a straight line

→ so angle ∠AOC and ∠COB makes a line

SOLUTION :-

∵ we know that AOB is a line so ,

∠AOC + ∠COB = 180° ( already proven )

here ∠AOC = 110°

so putting the value in place

110° + ∠COB = 180

∠COB = 180° -110°

∠COB= 70°
