Given : ABCD is a parallelogram with AB=6.5cm, BQ=6cm, AD=4cm.

To find  : DP

Solution:

ABCD is a parallelogram

Area of  parallelogram = Base x height

Base = AB  = 6.5 cm

& height =DP

Area =  6.5 x DP cm²

Base = AD = 4 cm

& height =BQ = 6

Area = 4 x 6  cm²

6.5 x DP  = 4 x 6

=> DP = 24/6.5

=> DP = 48/13
