In the given figure, AQ/AC =AP/AB= 1/3
Therefore, byvconverse of Basic proportionality
Theorem, we have QP||CB
Hence,∆ AQP~∆ACB [ Using AA similar condition]
therefore, AQ/AC =QP/CB
=> 1/3 = 4.5/BC
=> BC = 3×4.5
= 13.5 cm
