In the figure PL is perpendicular to OA and PM is perpendicular to OB such that PL=PM. Is triangle PLO = triangle PMO ??

In ∆PLO and ∆PMO ,

  • PL = PM ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ(given)

  • Angle PLO = Angle PMO = 90°

  • PO = POㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ(common side)

Therefore , by RHS congruncy test ,

∆PLO ∆PMO
