MN is tangent to circle having centre A.

Therefore AM is perpendicular to MN

In ∆ AMN, ang. AMN = 90°

By Pythagoras thm.

AN^2 = AM^2 + MN^2

10^2 = AM^2 + 5^2

100 = AM^2 +25

AM ^2 = 100 - 25 = 75

AM = √75 = √3×25 = 5√3

But, AM is radius of circle.

Therefore, radius of circle is 5√3 cm
