Δ PSQ = 1/2 of the area of the reactangle PQRS

 because rectangle is also a parallogram

Δ PSQ = 1/2 of the area of the reactangle PQRS (when a triangle and a parallogram on a same base and between two parallel lines the the area of the triangle is half of the parallograme)

∴ Δ PAQ= PSQ

     Δ PSQ = 25cm²

∴ PAQ = 25 cm²
