,6 ohm and 4 ohm are connected in parallel.                  

 Thus,  The resultant resistance (R)=1/6+1/4=5/12 or R=125=2.4ohm          Current, I=1.2 A ,Using,V=IR=1.2×2.4=2.88 V

Now,Current passing through 6 ohm resistor,

I=VR

=2.886

=0.48 A
