In fig.
Angle BAD = Angle ADC
But they're co interior angles. Thus, AB || CD.
Also, AX || BC, this implies, ABCX is a parallelogram.
Therefore, AB = CX = 5 cm (opposite sides of parallelogram are equal)
Also, AX = BC = 5 cm
Now, DX = DC-CX = 8-5 = 3 cm

In ∆ADX, using Pythagorean theorem, we get,
AD = 4 cm

Now, in parallelogram ABCX,
Base = 5 cm
Height = 4 cm.
Therefore, ar (ABCX) = Base × Height
= 20 cm²

I give you answer in just a second here we can find area of ABC x by finding the area of trapezium ABCD and then why and then subtracting the area of triangle A XD

aur we can find area of ABC X by finding the height of the parallelogram and then finding the area by using the formula base into height

in order to find height we have to find the length of dA

we can find nearby Pythagoras Theorem as a x is equal to 5 cm and DX is equal to 3 cm

here dear that is height is 4 cm

area of parallelogram is base * height

4cm*5cm

20 sq.cm.

Ans.Area of ABC X that is Parallelogram is 20 CM square

hope you like it ,give me and make me the brilliant answer
