in the figure the shape of a solid copper piece(made ogf two pieces)with dimensions is shown.the face of ABCDEF is uniform cross-section.Assume that the angles atA,B,C,D,E are right angles,calculate the volume of the piece.

AB=2cm

IJ=5cm

JK=8cm

KL=3cm

First, we need to find the volume of upper cuboid:

Volume of upper cuboid=l×b×h

=22×2×5

=220 cm^{3}

Now, we have to find the volume of lower cuboid:

Volume of lower cuboid=FE×EL×DE

=(8+2)×22×3

=660 cm^{3}

And finally the volume of copper = Volume of lower cuboid + Volume of upper cuboid

Volume of copper piece=(660+220)cm^{3}
