in the figure triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle where AB is equal to AC.angle A =48 and angle ACD = 18 prove BC=BD

in ∆ABC,
angle ABC =1/2(180-48)
= 1/2(132)
= 66°
since ABC is an isosceles triangle,
then angle BCD = 66-18 = 48°
in triangle BCD,
angle BDC =180-(66+48)
=180-114
=66°
here angle ABC = angle BDC
HENCE , BC = CD
