Length = 28 cm(AB)

Breadth = 14 cm(BC)

Area of the rectangle = 28*14

                                    = 392 cm.square

Area of a circle = 22/7 * r.square

Diameter of a circle = 28/2

                                 = 14 cm

∴ Area of the circle = 22/7*14

                                = 44 cm.square

So, Area of two circles = 44*2

                                      = 88 cm.square

∴ Area of the shaded region = Area of rectangle - Area of the two circles

                                                =392-14

                                                =304 cm.square (Ans)
