Given  :  in Fig  two straight lines AB and CD intersect at O  ∠COT = 60°

To find : a , b & c

Solution:

AB is a straight line

Hence

4b + 60° + b = 180°

=> 5b = 120°

=> b = 24°

CD is a straight line

60° + b + a = 180°

=> b + a = 120°

=>  24° + a = 120°

=> a = 96°

4b + 2c  = 180°

=> 4(24) + 2c = 180°

=> 96° + 2c = 180°

=> 2c = 84°

=> c = 42°

a = 96° , b = 24°   , c = 42°

AB is a straight line

Hence

4b + 60° + b = 180°

⇒ 5b = 120°

⇒ b = 24°

CD is a straight line

60° + b + a = 180°

⇒ b + a = 120°

⇒  24° + a = 120°

⇒ a = 96°

4b + 2c  = 180°

⇒ 4(24) + 2c = 180°

⇒ 96° + 2c = 180°

⇒ 2c = 84°

⇒ c = 42°

∴a = 96° , b = 24°   , c = 42°
