we know that sum of ( interior + external ) angle of a triangle = 180° as they form a straight line

So ,

BAC = 180° - Z

ABC = 180° - X

ACB = 180° - Y

Sum of angles in a triangle = 180°

==> BAC + ABC + ACB = 180°

180° - Z + 180° - X + 180° - Y = 180°

360° = X +Y + Z or

X + Y + Z = 360°
