In the figure YZ = 12cm, YP=7cm. Area of △XYZ is 60cm2. Find the area of △XYP
and △XPZ.

area of triangle XPZ = 1/2* base * height

= 1/2*PZ*XP

= 1/2* 5*10 = 25cm2
