In the first 10 overs of a cricket game, the run rate was only 3.2. What should be the run rate in the remaining 40 overs to reach the target of 282 runs?

Hi,

According to run rate, score of the team in first over is = 3.2
=> score in first 10 overs = 32
now runs more required in 40 overs to reach the target of 282 is = 282 – 32
= 250.
therefore run rate in last 40 overs = 250/40
= 25/4
= 6.25.

hope u like it
