This problem is based on average calculation.
Required Run Rate = ( \frac{282-(3.2*10)}{40} ) = \frac{250}{40} = 6.25
Hence, the answer is 6.25 [run rate].

Given Target=282 runs
Run rate=3.2
.·.Run rate after 10 overs=(3.2×10)=32
Runs left=(282-32)runs=250 runs (to be completed in 40 overs)
.·.Run rate in each over=250/40=6.25

So the required run rate is 6.25
