Explanation:

Since all the resistances are in series equivalent resistances are

\(R_{eq}=R_1+R_2+R_3+R_4\)

\(R_{eq}=10+10+10+10\)

\(R_{eq}=40\ \Omega\)

Current through the circuit is

\(I=\frac{V}{R_{eq}}\)

\(I=\frac{10}{40}\)

\(I=0.25\ A\)

Reading of \(V_1\) and \(V_2\)

\(V_1=V_2=0.25\times 20\)

\(V_1=V_2=5\ V\)

Reading of \(V_3\) and \(V_4\)

\(V_4=V_3=0.25\times 10\)

\(V_4=V_3=2.5\ \Omega\)

Therefore \(V_1=2V_3\) and \(V_1\gt V_4\)
