In the following figure, AB parreral DC and AD = BC .
DC = 20cm
AD = 10cm
Angle A = 60°
AB = x cm
Find the value of x

Angle A = 60°

AB = x cm

This is the condition for rhombus and trapezium.

For rhombus,

AB = CD = 20 cm

For trapezium,

If angle A = 60,

Then B must be 60.

AD = 10 given

So,

Base of Ab' = 10*cos60

= 10*1/2 = 5 cm

Similarly Ba' = 5 cm

So, finally AB = CD + Ab' + Ba'

AB = 20+5+5 = 30 cm.
