AD=AB (sides of a rhombus)

4x+3=5x-3

and x=6

now the side AB is 27

We can see that angle AB is equals to AD

thus angle ADB= angle ABD

By the above statement and angle sum property of the triangle, we can See that the triangle formed is an equilateral triangle and all the sides of the triangle are equal

Thus BD=AD

or 2y-1=27

or 2y=27+1=28

or y=14
