so

5x-3=4x+3

x= 6

now by cosine law

BD²=AD²+AB²-2AD.AB cosø

(2y-1)²=(5x-3)²+(4x+3)²-2(5x-3)(4x+3)cos60

(2y-1)²=27²+27²-(2×27²×1/2)

(2y-1)²=2×27²-27²

(2y-1)²=27²

2y-1=27

2y=28==> y=14
