in the following figure BA and PB and tangent drawn from a point P to the circle with Centre O if angle APB is equal to 60 degree then what is angle aob

Hey mate......

Given that AB and PB are tangents to circle with centre O.

And angle APB =60°

Now as we know that...

angle APB + angle AOB + angle PAO + angle PBO = 360° -------------eq 1

They are making a quadrilateral.

Here angle PAO = angle PBO = 90° (tangents are perpendicular to the circle)

Putting these values in eq 1 we get

60 + 90+90+ angle AOB = 360

angle AOB = 360-240

angle AOB = 120
