We can observe that ▲ABC a right angle triangle

so, angle y =90°

Also angle z=90° because there we can observe that ▲ ADE is also a right angle triangle and also DE is parallel to BC

We know that

The sum of all ang|es in a ▲ =180°

So, in ▲ADE

we know that angle A=40° and z=90°

Add them

40°+90°+x=180°

130°+x=180°

x=180°-130°

x=50°
