Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

180°-125°=55°.....

180°-100°=80°.....

Now, 55°+80°+x=180°(angle sum

property)

Therefore x= 180-135

x=45°

The value of x = 45°

Given problem:

determine the value of x from figure

Solution:

If we give names as shown in figure

then  ∠BAC and ∠ CAD are linear angles

⇒ ∠BAC + ∠ CAD = 180°

⇒ ∠BAC + 125° = 180°

⇒ ∠BAC  = 180° - 125°

⇒ ∠BAC = 55°

In given figure, ∠ABE is a exterior angle

⇒ ∠ABC + ∠ABE = 180°

⇒ ∠ABC + 100° = 180°

⇒ ∠ABC  = 80°

As we know sum of angles in a triangle = 180°

⇒ ∠BAC + ∠ABC + ∠ACB = 180°

⇒ 55° + 80° + x = 180°

⇒ 135° + x = 180°

⇒ x = 180° - 135° = 45°

The value of x = 45°
