OP divides the chord into equal halves.So by property, angle POA will be 90°.

Using pythagoras theorem, $AO=\sqrt{4^{2}- 3^{2} }$

$AO=\sqrt{7}$

So length of the chord = 2AO= $2\sqrt{7}$
