We gonna make a equation first.

so, according to question,

 \frac{2x + 4}{3y + 8} = 0\\ 2x + 4 = 3y + 8 \\ 2x - 3y = 8 - 4 \\ 2x - 3y = 4.........(i) \\ \\ acc. \: to \: question \: 2nd \: eq. \: would \: be \: \\ x = 2y \\ x - 2y = 0............(ii) \\ \\ multiplying \: eq \: 2 \: by \: 2 \\ 2(x - 2y = 0) \\ 2x - 4y = 0 ...........(iii) \\ \\ subtracting \: eq \: 3 \: nd \: 4 \\ \frac{2x - 3y}{2x - 4y} \frac{ = 4}{ = 0} \\ = + 2y = 4 \\ y = \frac{4}{2} = 2 \\ \\ putting \: value \: of \: y = 2 \: in \: eq. \: 1 \: \\ 2x - 3y = 4 \\ 2x - 3(2) = 4 \\ 2x - 6 = 4 \\ 2x = 4 + 6 \\ 2x = 10 \\ x = \frac{10}{2} = 5 \\ \\ value \: of \: x = 5 \: nd \: y = 2
