Given :  AB is parallel to CD, angle APQ=64 ° and angle PRD =125°

To Find :  value of x and y

Solution:

Given AB || CD    and PQ is transversal

Hence  x    = 64°    ( alternate angle )

125°  = x + y       as Exterior angle of triangle = sum of two opposite interior angles

=>  125°  = 64°  + y

=> y = 61°

x =  64°   and y = 61°
