➡ x = angle 1 (corresponding angles)

now,

angle 1 + 3x = 180° (linear pair)

➡ x + 3x = 180° (since angle 1 = x)

➡ 4x = 180°

➡ x = 180°/4

➡ x = 45°

the value of x is = 45°

also x and y are linear pairs.

therefore x + y = 180°

➡ 45° + y = 180°

➡ y = 180° - 45°

➡ y = 135°

hence, the correct option is c) 135°
