Solution :-

from image we can see that, line l is parallel to line m and line n is a transversal .

we know that,

  • When a transversal cuts two parallel lines , the angles in matching corners are called corresponding angles .
  • They are equal in measure .

So, from image 4 pairs of corresponding angles are :-

  • ∠1 , ∠5
  • ∠2 , ∠6
  • ∠4 , ∠ 8
  • ∠3 , ∠7

therefore, Option (D) ∠ 3 , ∠ 5 are not a pair of corresponding angles but a pair of alternate interior angles .
