Hello there,

in the figure,

we know

an angle is given to be 90°

another angle can be found by using the linear pair property ie. (180°- 130° = 50°)

thus we found another angle.

Similarly,

we use the linear pair property again,

ie. - (180° - 55° = 125°)

now,

we know three angles as calculated -

90° , 50° and 125°

now to find the fourth,

let the fourth angle be 'x'

we use the interior angle property ie.

(All angles in a quadrilateral add up to 360°)

therefore ,

90° + 125° + 50° + x = 360°

265° + x = 360°

x = 360° - 265°

x = 95°

now since we know the fourth angle as 95°,

we simply use the linear pair property again -

95° + y = 180°

y = 180° - 95°

y = 85° ------ ANSWER

Therefore y = 85°

HOPE THIS HELPS,

THANKS
