In the ABCD parallelogram a square is formed in the figure and

Area of the square = side × side

= 10×10=100m²

In the right side of the Square there is a triangle

so, The base is 6m because here 16-10 = 6m

and height is 10 m.

Therefore, Area of triangle= ½×base × height

= ½×6×10 = 30m²

Therefore, the area oa the shaded region =100+30=130

Therefore, the area if the shaded region is 130m².
