  • Diagonal of a parallelogram bisect each other.

\sf \therefore ~~ 5y+1=6y-1

\sf  \implies ~~ 5y - 6y=-1 - 1

\sf  \implies ~~ -y=-2

\sf  \implies ~~ y=2

And

\sf \therefore ~~3x - 1=2(x + 1)

\sf \therefore ~~3x - 1=2x + 2

\sf \therefore ~~3x  - 2x  = 2 + 1

\sf \therefore ~~x  = 3

  • Hence the value of x and y is 3 and 2.
