Δ RST is a right angled triangle ,

So , By pythagoras theoram

RT² = RS² + RT²

RT² = (4.5)² + 6²

RT² = 20.25 + 36

RT² = 56.25

RT = √56.25

Given,

TS= 6cm

SR= 4.5cm

To find,

Length of TR

Solution,

As RST is a Right angled traingle,

Applying Pythagores Theorem,

(RT)²=(RS)²+(TS)²

(RT)²=(6)²+(4.5)²

(RT)²=36+10.25

(RT)²=56.25

RT= \sqrt{56.25}

RT= 7.5cm

Hope it helps..

Keep smiling..☺
