In the formation of electrovalent compounds electrons are transfered from one element to another. how are electrons involved in the formation of a covalent compounds????

in covalent compounds,electrons are shared between two atoms(similar or different).

Hey...
When electrons are shared between two elements, covalent bond is formed. It is formed usually between two nonmetals and sometime between a metal and a nonmetal.
