In rectangle
L=5m
b=4m
Area ( A1 ) =Lb
=5*4
=20m^2
In trapezium,
one parallel side ( p ) =4m
other parallel side ( q ) = 10m(Since, ABCD is a square,all sides are equal)
height ( h ) =length of square-length of rectangle
=10-5
=5m
Area ( A2 ) = h(p+q)/2
= 5(4+10)/2
=5*14/2
=5*7
=35m^2
Area of shaded portion = A1+A2
=20+35
=55m^2

the area where grass is not grown =(2*3*5)+(2* 1/2* 3* 5) = 45sq m. area where grass is grown = 100-45 = 55sq m
