In the gaseous state, the particles move about randomly at high speed. Due to this random movement, the particles hit each other and also the walls of the container. What is ‘this force’ called that is exerted by gas particles per unit area? What change do you expect if the volume of the container is increased?

Explanation:

here is your answer

the state of matter distinguished from the solid and liquid states by: relatively low density and viscosity; relatively great expansion and contraction with changes in pressure and temperature; the ability to diffuse readily; and the spontaneous tendency to become distributed uniformly throughout any container.

Answer. When a metal react with the salt solution and displaces the metal present in it, is called displacement reaction. Iron can displace copper from its salt solution because iron is placed higher in the activity series than copper and is more reactive than copper

Explanation:

force exerted by gas particles per unit area is called pressure. if the volume of the container gets increased, then to the pressure exerted by the gas particles gets decreased.
