GIVEN :::::::
AP = 20
CP = 10
AO = OB = OC = RADIUS OF THE CIRCLE
TO FIND :::::::
RADIUS OF THE CIRCLE
FORMULA USED :::::
PYTHAGORAS THEOREM
HOW TO FIND :::::
WE KNOW CPO IS A RIGHT TRIANGLE RIGHT ANGLED AT C.
SO BY APPLYING PYTHAGORAS THEOREM::::
PO² = OC² + CP²
NOW,
AP = 20
AP = AO + PO
WE KNOW, AO = R (RADIUS)
THEN, PO = AP - AO = 20 -R
THEREFORE,
(20 - R)² = CP² + CO²
400 - 40R + R² = 100 + R²
400 - 40R = 100
40R = 300
R = 300/40
R = 7.5 cm
