for the upper block :

a = acceleration

f = frictional force acting between the two blocks

F_{n} = normal force on the upper block by the surface of lower block

m₁ g = weight of upper block

μ = coefficient of friction

using equilibrium of force in vertical direction

F_{n} = m₁ g

frictional force acting on upper block is given as

f = μ F_{n}

f = μ m₁ g                                          eq-1

force equation in horizontal direction is given as

F - f = m₁ a

F -  μ m₁ g = m₁ a                            eq-2

for the lower block :

F'_{n} = normal force on the lower block by the surface

m₂ g = weight of lower block

a = acceleration

force equation along the horizontal direction is given as

f = m₂ a

using eq-1

μ m₁ g = m₂ a

a = μ m₁ g/m₂                                      eq-3

using eq-2  and eq-3

F -  μ m₁ g = m₁ (μ m₁ g/m₂ )

F = μ m₁ g (1 + (m₁ /m₂))

Explanation:

Remember ki agr ese questions ke formulas aap directly Rtt rhe ho to ye yaad jrur rkhna ki M2 wala block M1 ke uppr tha ya M1 wala block M2 ke uppr
