As the series combination of resistances 3 Ω and 2Ω is connected in parallel with a resistance of 5 Ω. The net resistance = (5×5)/ (5+5) The net resistance = 25/10 The net resistance = 2.5 Ω Current (I) = V/R I= (2.5/2.5) amp I=1 amp.
