In the given circuit,(i)Find the equivalent resistance and total current flowing in the circuit.

Explanation:

i. equivalent resistance is 25 ohm.

I= E/R = 100/ 25 = 4A

ii. Voltage and current across each RESISTOR is

V1 = 5 x 4 = 20v, I1 =4A

V2 = 20 x 2 = 40v, I2 = 2A

V3 =10 x 2 = 20v, I3 = 2A

V4 =10 x 2 = 20v ,I4 = 2A

V5 = 10 x 4= 40v, I5 = 4A
