in the given circuit, r1=60 ohms , r2=30 ohms , r3=20 ohms , r4=40 ohms , r5=10. the battery voltage is 12v. calculate(1)total resistance (2)total current (3)current through each resistor​

When the resistances are connected in series then

1) total resistance= r1+r2+r3+r4+r5= 60+30+20+40+10=160 ohm

2) total current = v/r = 12/160 = 0.075 ampere

since 0.075 ampere is not possible

so the the resistances are either connected in Parallel or mixed.

In Parallel combination

1) total resistance = 90000ohm

that higher resistance is also not possible so

the the connection is mixed
