In the given fig. ABCD is a square whose diagonals are intersecting at O. If OD=2 cm , then find the length of AB .

DO=1/2DB

therefore

DB=2DO

DB=2x2

DB=4

FOR a square diagonals are equal

so DB=AC

AO=2

OB=2

SO by using Pythagoras theorem

AB=√AOXAO+OBxOB

=√8
