Given,

AC = DC

CB = CE

To prove,

AB = DE

Proof,

AC = DC → 1 (given)

CB = CE → 2 (given)

From  → 1 and → 2 we get

AC + CB = DC + CE (If equals are added to equals the wholes are equals)

⇒ AB = DE
