angle 1 + angle ACD = 180 ( linear pair )

angle 1 + 110 = 180

angle 1 = 180 - 110

angle 1 = 70

angle 1 + angle CAB + angle x = 180

70 + 45 + angle x = 180

115 + angle x = 180

angle x = 180 - 115

angle x = 65

OR

angle CAB + angle x = 110 (exterior angle property )

45 + angle x = 110

angle x = 110 - 45

angle x = 65
