Answer:

The perimeter of triangle ABC  is  =  12  cm .

Step-by-step explanation:

According to theorem , tangents drawn from external point to a circle are always equal .

So, as BP and BQ are tangents from point B.

So,  BP =  BQ

=>  BQ  =  2  cm

=> AQ  =  AB + BQ  =  4 + 2  =  6  cm

            =  AB + BP   =  6  cm                  ....................(1)

As, AQ and AR are tangents from point A

So,  AQ  =  AR

As ,  CP and CR are tangents from point C .

So,   CP  =  CR

=>  AR  =  AQ  =  AC + CR

            =   AC +  CP  =  6  cm                    ..........................(2)

Adding equations  (1)  and  (2)

=>   AB + BP  +  AC +  CP  =  6 + 6

=>   AB + BC + CA  =  12  cm

=> the perimeter of triangle ABC  is  =  12  cm .
