in the given fig why does d,e,f bulbs did not glow​

i think these three batteries are only for a,b,c bulbs and the line between a,b.c and d,e,f bulbs.. blocks the pAth of current flow to d.e.f

Because they are not connected to the circuit through which the current is flowing.I think they are separated from it that is why did not glow.
