⇒ BP=DP ---- ( 2 )

Subtracting ( 2 ) from ( 1 ),

⇒ AP−BP=CP−DP

⇒ AB=CD

Thus, AB and CD are common tangents to two circles of unequal

radii then AB is not equal to CD.
