Since AB || CD

angle Z = 100° (alternative angles formed by a line intersecting two parallel line always same)

As cd is a straight line and angle on F point is 80

so angle A is also 80 but angle formed on a line makes a sum of 180°

Now we know very well that sum of angle formed in a triangle = 180°

then x = 180-(90+30)

=> X = 60

since x = 60 and 80 is another angle on pint F

and angle formed on a line = 180°

=> now Y = 180-(60+80)

=> 180-140 = 40°
